My Joy is Full*

 

"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.”  John 15:7-11

What is it like to have joy? I know its the most amazing feeling ever! It makes you want to jump, right? Yeah, I would definitely jump for joy with you! I love that word "JOY". I love ice cream & it makes me happy but its not the joy I speak of. I found joy when I put my trust in the Lord. Its the joy in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I am Hard of Hearing & it's hard at times but I still have joy knowing that Heavenly Father still continues to love me & You. I know that when we follow the Savior's simple examples, the joy I speak of is ETERNAL. I know through our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can be strengthened. That is the greatest thing to know, right? (: Our happiness can be eternal. Your joy can can be made perfect, even through times of trials in living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

*SIGH... Life is too good & I am grateful to be here. I know my weaknesses but through Jesus Christ, we can be made whole. I have a favorite scripture that I grew up with & I have a testimony of it.

Ether 12:27..

"And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness, I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

 I remember my father once told me, "Giving joy is receiving joy." Oh yes, it makes me happy when I serve others. I love to see people happy. I have found true joy in being a missionary, serving with Sister Lowder. Our message is centered in Jesus Christ.
